Wall attached Carport installed in Norfolk

Lise reached out to us at the start of the year with a requirement for a carport that she wanted to attach to the right side of her property. The quarter curve carport is definitely the best fit for the location and will provide the ultimate protection to Lise’s vehicle.

Following the initial estimate, Lise was happy with our estimated price for the wall attached carport. The next step would therefore be a site survey, which our project manager organised with Lise.  During our survey, we used our high tech 3D scanning equipment to scan the area. Our scanner collects all of the data and translates it into a point cloud file. We then design the canopy within the point cloud, ensuring it will fit the space perfectly. Our designer then creates a 3D video walkthrough to show the customer, helping Lise visualise the final product.

On-site, Lise and Gary (the surveyor) went through all of her needs & requirements. To name a few, she wanted to use wall attached cranked posts to maximise the space, and send the carport roof over the top of the house to create more headroom. Lise also wanted us to replace her existing fence and gate. She wanted it to be the same RAL colour as the carport, along with rhombus-shaped spaced larch infills. Lise also chose to have an external downpipe rather than an internal one. Lise opted for this as she wants the water to evacuate into a water butt.

After the Survey:

Lise loved the 3D visual put together by our designer & accepted our final price. Full steam ahead…we began engineering the carport drawings, which Lise promptly signed off. Lise requested for the structure to be powder-coated in RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey to complement her property and the surroundings. Furthermore, she opted for an opal polycarbonate roof.

We offered Lise a built-to-last solution as all of our carports come with full structural calculations. Lise, therefore, knew her carport would be extremely safe since we provided the wind, snow and moment loading calculations.

Once a manufactured date had been confirmed, the project manager arranged a delivery date in preparation for the installation. Lise made sure her existing carport and fence would be removed before our fitters arrive.

Once started, the installation of the quarter curved carport took shape very quickly and was fully installed in just 2.5 days! Our fitters had one last walk around the canopy with Lise, who was best pleased with the finished look.
