Jack approached us with a requirement of a large canopy to cover his outdoor area. Jack lives in a stunning rural location on the outskirts of Langholm, on the top of a hill. Therefore he experiences high winds and driving rain. One our canopies would provide him with the perfect solution.
Beth at Cowan Architects approached us with a requirement for a wide double carport to be installed at the front of their customer’s property. Cowan Architects predominantly deal with homes that are set up for the disabled. We had to meet certain requirements, such as working around the soffits, fascias, roof line and the downpipe position. The downpipe had to exit into the existing eco drain.
Mandy approached us with a requirement for a carport canopy to replace her existing garage, which was contaminated with asbestos. Mandy arranged for her garage to be taken down by asbestos specialists. Her previous garage wasn’t wide enough to store a vehicle in, so she wanted her new carport canopy to cover her property and provide parking and shelter right to the back of the property. Mandy wanted a gate installed on the front of her carport, so with that in mind we manufactured and supplied a post with welded gate hooks.
We recently installed 4 identical carports for North Ayrshire Council on one of their new housing development sites in Irvine. All four of the carports had larch infills, which really set the bar high. The larch infills not only look amazing but also provide great protection from the prevailing winds and rain.
Our customer, Paul, contacted us in search for a single carport, which he wanted to be installed at the front of his property. Paul had a specific space and size to cover. As Paul wanted his carport installed at the front of his property, planning permission was required. Paul used his own architect for planning permission but we did also assist him with the elevations.
Jonathan approached us with a need for a free-standing double carport canopy, which he wanted to be installed at the front of his double garage. With winter approaching, Jonathan wanted to ensure the protection of his vehicles from the weather elements. To further protect his vehicles, Jonathan opted to have stormshield infills, which is temporary solution. The stormshield infills can be kept in place if required.
